Support services take place in the participant’s preferred environment which includes schools, family home or community day option environments. They are tight-knit, supportive & collaborative organisation who pride themselves on client care & ensuring that is provided to a maximum. They are now expanding their operations into WA and as such require a PBS Practitioner to join them on their journey.

Key responsibilities - Provide positive behaviour support assessments & plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions & assessments, behavioural counselling & support to a range of clients
- Provide functional, behavioural, psychometric & vocational assessments
- Achieve client defined clinical outcomes such as reducing challenging behaviour & improving quality of life
Key selection criteria - Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Developmental Education
- Full registration with the relevant membership body (AHPRA, SPA, DEAI or AASW)
- Assessed by NDIS or self-assessed as a PBS practitioner (any level)
- Demonstrated experience in providing Positive Behaviour Support to clients & a sound knowledge of the NDIS
- Demonstrated experience in writing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans
