About the role 

The organisation is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Behaviour Support Practitioner, at a proficient level or higher, to join their respected and diverse team. The role involves developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment.

As the Lead Practitioner you will be responsible for ensuring that the goals of your NDIS clients are achieved through the positive behaviour support framework, aiming to enhance their quality of life. Additionally, you will lead and manage your team, providing supervision and guidance to less experienced practitioners & more. 

Key Selection Criteria 

  • Assessed by NDIS being at Proficient or above level as a PBS practitioner 
  • Current Driver's License
  • Full Australian rights 
  • NDIS workers screening and Workers Children's Check 
  • Experience within NDIS/ Disability 
  • Desire to make a positive difference in the life of others 
  • Understanding of the need for evidence-informed, client centered care
  • Bachelor Degree in Behavioural Science, psychological science or a related field.
