About the role
Due to continued growth, we're looking for a passionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join the Darwin team! You will work with complex individuals; including children and adolescents, those with a disability, mental health and dual diagnosis and those with a history of complex trauma. As well as working with their families, carers or government departments that support them.
Your responsibilities will include the following but not limited to:
- Conducting various assessments and reports in the areas of; Functional Assessments, Motor Skills Assessment, Cognitive Function Assessments & more.
- Identifying client needs and goals to develop treatment plans.
- Providing therapy sessions to suit the individual needs of children, young people and adults. In various settings; clinic, community settings, telehealth, etc.
- Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve client-focused outcomes.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Criteria
- Bachelor or Master qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration - no limitations
- Current Working with Children Check & NDIS Check
- Current National Police Clearance & Drivers License
- Demonstrated experience working those who have complex needs
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
