About the role
Due to continued growth, we're looking for a passionate and driven Speech Pathologist to join the Darwin team! You will work with complex individuals; including children and adolescents, those with a disability, mental health and dual diagnosis and those with a history of complex trauma. As well as working with their families, carers or government departments that support them.
Your responsibilities will include the following but not limited to:
- Conducting various assessments to achieve client-outcomes
- Developing treatment and therapy plans to suit the individual needs of children, young people and adults
- Provide education to families in areas such as: AAC and mealtime management
- Conducting therapy services in the clients preferred environment
- Collaborating as part of the broader multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Essential Criteria
- Bachelor or Master qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia certification/membership
- Current Working with Children Check & NDIS Check
- Current National Police Clearance & Drivers License
- Demonstrated experience working those who have complex needs
- Demonstrated experience conducting various communication assessments
