Speech Pathologist

About the role 
Due to continued growth, we're looking for a passionate and driven Speech Pathologist to join the Darwin team! You will work with complex individuals; including children and adolescents, those with a disability, mental health and dual diagnosis and those with a history of complex trauma. As well as working with their families, carers or government departments that support them.

• Conducting various assessments to achieve client-outcomes 
• Developing treatment and therapy plans to suit the individual needs of children, young people and adults
• Provide education to families in areas such as: AAC and mealtime management
• Conducting therapy services in the clients preferred environment 
• Collaborating as part of the broader multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals 
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Bachelor or Master qualification in Speech Pathology
• Current Speech Pathology Australia certification/membership
• Current Working with Children Check & NDIS Check 
• Current National Police Clearance & Drivers License 
• Demonstrated experience working those who have complex needs
• Demonstrated experience conducting various communication assessments
